I recently finished the mt training through U.S. Career Institute, any suggestions on landing a job? There are so many companies that want you to have at least a year experience. Where should I even begin?

Great! You are landed in the perfect path. Medical transcription is an interesting and challenging career. Report says, the global medical transcription services market was valued at USD 41.4 million in 2012 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.6% from 2013 to 2019, to reach an estimated value of USD 60.6 million in 2019.

Many companies hires fresher’s for Medical transcription job. Most companies give preference for certificate candidates, so you have bright future ahead.

All the best.

Hi Devaraj,

Welcome to the site!

I see on your profile that you are from India. Unfortunately if you want to work at home for a company based in the US, it is very difficult to find employment, as the overwhelming majority of transcription services hire only US- or Canadian-based MTs. I know a lot of work goes over to India from the US so there must be many companies there that would meet your needs. I don't know the names of them but perhaps an internet search could be of help.

Good luck!
