Hoping to sponge up a little of your-all's medical expertise! I'm not sure whether I'm looking for bows or both or something else. The two spots it comes up are marked with brackets.
Thanks so much!
Q. What would you look for on Mr. Smith if he was paralyzed to see if he was having any problems with ventilation?
A. What would you look at?
Q. Yes.
A. His saturation on the monitor. You would look at his waveform. You would match the [] bows to make sure that they're both correct.
And if you didn't see that, you would look for the pulse oximeter that's located on his finger, somewhere on his body, his forehead, his nose, to make sure that you have a good waveform.
And you would correlate them both [] to make sure that you were getting a good reading.
